NEWS:   Happy Easter!! The Lord has Risen Alleluia”  During Holy week many of us contemplated the stations of the cross.  At the end of the prayers for the stations there are a set of prayers we pray for a holy & happy death. In one of the prayers it states; “I wish to die as St. Joseph did, in the arms of Jesus and Mary.”  What an incredible thought and meditation to consider.  It is said and must be true that the most efficacious day in the church calendar to die would be on the feast of St. Joseph, March 19th. Well it is with heavy heart that I share with you the loss of the most beloved Crusader of Fatima, our good and holy friend, Mr. Clement Pinto who passed away on the 19th of March at the age of ninety four. He will be truly missed, he is predeceased by his lovely wife Monica. He leaves behind three children, Anthony, Judith and MaryAnn, four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jude, Justin Ferrao and Mathieu Pinto; and great-grandchild CJ.  Clement was one of the most devoted and loved members of the Crusaders of Fatima, acting as its Treasurer for almost twenty years, serving at the masses, praying and leading the rosary, and just being an all around Christian example to all who came there. He epitomized the idea of the Christian gentleman, and must have had great devotion to St. Joseph for he certainly bore his meekness. Our Lord said in the gospel, “I am meek and humble of heart,  and at the Sermon on the Mount, He said, “ blessed are the meek.” Meekness is a virtue that very few men ever achieve but it was the one that stuck out with Our Lord of which he must have witnessed in his foster Father St. Joseph. Clement certainly possessed it, and as a result we have another advocate praying for us!
