NEW: It feels good to be back at the shrine for all or activities. The First Saturday Devotion in December was a great success with a great turnout for our annual Holiday celebration and potluck brunch. We will be hosting the First Saturday in January once again at the shrine. We are still making improvements and will continue to do so until we fully restore the shrine to it former glory and functionality. We ask that you bear with us as this slow transformation takes place. We are in the process of replacing a lot of the old furniture and liturgical items and asked for any help in this regards you may wish to offer. We also ask that you use caution when approaching the shrine during the winter months and inclement weather. It is still considered a construction site even though they have moved the fences back, but the property managers haven’t fully taking over their duties of keeping the walkways cleared. The shrine is operating right now on a weekend only schedule and as the nicer weather comes we will expand those times. We are testing different layouts in the shrine with the placement of the altar, and the new chairs are in and everyone seems to really like them. It is so great to see so many do so much to keep this sanctuary going. I personally would like to thank all of those who kept the spirit alive while we were in exile, and all the work you have done to have made this all worth while. It was also good to see the Hispanic community from St. Columbkill resume their First Saturday rosary at the shrine at the 3:00 pm hour.

SUNDAY ROSARY .
The Sunday Rosary for peace started back up at the shrine on the First Sunday in Advent, what an appropriate time to begin again. It was good to see the regular Sunday crew back together at the shrine. I encourage all to join us there each Sunday at 3:00 Pm for the Rosary.
FIRST SATURDAY. The First Saturday Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Al Winsham S.J. It will be at the shrine on January 4th at 9:00 am followed by the Rosary and coffee. Please join us if you can, it is a great way to start off the New Year by making the Five First Saturdays in reparation all the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

REMINDER . I would like to extend a reminder once again that The Crusaders of Fatima Inc . is a fully tax deductible charitable organization if anyone is looking for a great cause to make a charitable donation to we welcome you. Please remember that we will be praying for you and your intentions and having the First Saturday Mass offered up for you. We ask in return that you remember us in your prayers.
