CONSTRUCTION UPDATE.
Things are really shaping up in and around the shrine, but not as quickly as we were hoping for, and as a result we have relocated the First Saturday and the Candlelight Procession in July. We are hoping that by August we will be back at the shrine, but because of the work that is continuing on site it would make it impossible for us at this point. Let’s keep praying for all that is being done there.
JUNE EVENTS.
Thank all of you who participated and came out for the June First Saturday and Candlelight Procession held at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Brookline. Thanks to the Parishioners and the Pastor as well.
FIRST SATURDAY IN JULY.
The First Saturday on July 6th will be held at St. Mary’s Chapel at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA. The Very Rev. Ron Tacelli SJ. will preside at the Mass, which will be followed by rosary, and coffee. The priest will be available for confession and there will be a meditation.
JULY 13TH CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION.
The Candle light procession on JULY 13th will be held at St. Columbkill’s Church, 521 Market St. Brighton MA. This is to commemorate the apparition’s that took place 101 years ago, as Our Lady said to the children; “I want you to come here on the 13th of each month, and to pray the rosary.”
SUNDAY ROSARY.
Many thanks go out to the St. Elizabeth’s hospital chapel for allowing us to come there on Sundays at 3pm to say the rosary for peace. Many prayers are being answered. We are lucky as the warm weather arrives with many meaningful feast in July such as the feast of St. Benedict, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Anne & Joachim, St. James, and St. Ignatius of Loyola, to mention a few. Let us pray and offer up our sacrifices for a well needed outcome for the shrine. I hope to see you all at our First Saturday and wishing everyone a wonderful Fourth of July, let us remember the needs of the nation in our prayers as well.
