The following prayers revealed to the children in Fatima are simple, profound and contempletive. To a world in need of faith, hope and charity, they stress ancient truths concerning the Holy Eucharist and Mary Immaculate.
Prayer taught by the Angel of Peace to the three children during his first apparition in 1916.
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love You.
With the Blessed Sacrament suspended in the air, the Angel of Peace prostrated himself and recited this prayer during his third apparition to the children in 1916.
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
Prayer communicated to the three seers by an interior impulse during the apparition of May 13, 1917.
Most Holy Trinity, I adore You! My God, my God, I love You in the Most Blessed Sacrament!
During the July 13, 1917 apparition, Our Lady taught this prayer to the children to be said when they would make some sacrifice to God.
O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
During her July 13, 1917 apparition, Our Lady asked that the following prayer be inserted after each decade of the Rosary.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven especially those most in need of Thy mercy.
Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, and the tender Mother of men, In accordance with your ardent wish made known at Fatima, I consecrate to your Immaculate Heart myself, my brethren, my country, and the whole human race. Reign over us, Most Holy Mother of God, and teach us how to make the Heart of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, reign and triumph in us even as It has reigned and triumphed in you.
“Reign over us, dearest Mother, that we may be yours in prosperity and in adversity; in joy and in sorrow; in health and in sickness; in life and in death.
O most compassionate Heart of Mary, Queen of Virgins, watch over our minds and our hearts and preserve them from the deluge of impurity which you did lament so sorrowfully at Fatima. We want to atone for the many sins committed against Jesus and you. We want to call down upon our country and the whole world the peace of God in justice and charity.
Therefore, we now promise to imitate your virtues by the practice of a Christian life without regard to human respect. We resolve to receive Holy Communion on the First Saturday of every month and to offer you five decades of the Rosary each day, together with our sacrifices in a spirit of reparation and penance. Amen
Pledge for Peace
Dear Queen and Mother, who promised at Fatima to convert Russia and bring peace to all mankind, in reparation to your Immaculate Heart for my sins and the sins of the whole world, I solemnly promise:
(1) to offer up every day the sacrifices demanded by my daily duty;
(2) to say part of the Rosary (five decades) daily while meditating on the Mysteries;
(3) to wear the Scapular of Mount Carmel as a profession of this promise and as an act of consecration to you.
I shall renew these promises often, especially in moments of temptation.
Prayer for the Beatification
Most Holy Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly and I thank you for the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fatima that revealed to the world the riches of her Immaculate Heart. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I implore You, if it should be for Your greater glory and the good of our souls, to glorify Sister Lucia, one of the Shepherds of Fatima, by granting us the grace which we implore through her intercession. Amen.
